May events

When you want to really spoil your Fur Baby, or just meet other pet owners who are as crazy about their pets as you, there’s no better place to bring your Baby than a pet event. When you attend pet shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Events page you have an opportunity to meet hundreds, maybe even thousands, of pet lovers. And since the majority of the events listed benefit humane societies, attending one is a great way to help homeless pets too.

BOTTLE BABY FOSTER TRAINING WORKSHOP

Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 9 AM – 10:30 AM

Learn to bottle feed with hands-on experience and how to foster at home! AHS welcomes you to join our Bottle Baby Foster Training Workshops! Receive hands-on training and learn how to properly care for kittens under 5 weeks old.

After the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to take bottle kittens home and use the skills they’ve learned to foster young, orphaned kittens in their own home. The workshop will be held in AHS' Training Center off of Hatcher Road. Sign up today to help save the lives of our tiniest feline residents!
